Giang Nguyen is an Assistant Professor at Technische Universität Dresden since July 2021, having previously worked as a Cloud Software Engineer at Wandelbots from January 2018 to June 2021, and as a Senior Researcher on NFV/SDN at Deutsche Telekom Chair for Communication Networks @TU Dresden from January 2016 to May 2019, focusing on mobile edge computing and 5G networks. Earlier experience includes roles as a Lecturer and Researcher at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering from June 2005 to June 2010, where courses taught included Object-Oriented Programming and Network Programming, as well as a Communications Engineer position at Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation from September 2001 to February 2002. Academic qualifications encompass a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Dresden (2014-2016), a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications from the Asian Institute of Technology (2003-2005), and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Hanoi University of Science and Technology (1996-2001).
