Thorwald van Vuure

Thorwald Van Vuure is a seasoned expert in linear motors and technology specializing in research and development, currently serving as a Senior Technology Specialist at Tecnotion since August 2012. Prior to this role, Thorwald contributed as an Experimental Physicist at MAPPER Lithography, focusing on innovative chip-making technology, and gained valuable experience as an Instrument Development Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, developing advanced neutron detectors. Thorwald's early career included roles as a Post-doc at the Institute for Transuranium Elements and as an Ingenieur Physicien at the Institut Laue Langevin, where significant advancements in measurement techniques and detector systems were achieved. Thorwald holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics and a Master of Science in Engineering Physics from Delft University of Technology, complemented by a VWO degree from C.S.G. Jan Arentsz.
