Rithikaa Rajendran

Rithikaa Rajendran is currently serving as the Speaker Lead at TEDxRutgers, where responsibilities include leading a team of Speaker Curators and preparing speakers for the annual conference. As a Research Assistant at the Rutgers Brain Health Institute, Rithikaa investigates neural circuits related to psychiatric disorders using rodent models to enhance understanding of drug addiction and mental health. Additionally, Rithikaa works as an Operating Room Technician at JFK Medical Center, assisting RN's and surgeons in surgery preparation and patient transport. Rithikaa also holds the position of Emergency Medical Technician at South Plainfield EMS. Rithikaa is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Cell Biology and Neuroscience along with Developmental Psychology at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, having completed a High School Diploma with a focus on Biological and Biomedical Sciences at Piscataway High School.
