Rich Waterworth is an experienced marketing and operations professional with a diverse background in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Trustee for Teenage Cancer Trust since February 2021, Waterworth has held key positions at TikTok from August 2019 to May 2024, including General Manager for Operations in the EU and EMEA and involved in EMEA Marketing. Prior to TikTok, Waterworth worked at Google as part of the EMEA Marketing team for YouTube from January 2011 to July 2019 and served as Director of Platform Marketing at ITV from March 2007 to January 2011. With earlier experience as Head of Marketing for the Extreme Sports Channel at Chellomedia and in various marketing roles at IPC Media and Branded, Waterworth has a solid foundation in brand and business development. Currently pursuing an MSc in Social Science of the Internet at the Oxford Internet Institute, Waterworth also holds a degree in Modern Languages & Philosophy from the University of Oxford.
