Maggie Fitzgerald

Maggie Fitzgerald is a multimedia journalist currently working with TEGNA since June 2024. Fitzgerald has diverse experience in journalism and media, having served as a producer and main anchor for Temple Update since September 2022, and as the main host and co-executive producer of Temple Talk since August 2020. Prior experiences include a community engagement intern role at 6abc WPVI-TV Philadelphia and positions with The Temple News, where Fitzgerald was director of engagement and audience engagement editor. Additional experience encompasses a general production/writer's intern position at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and roles as a content creator and social media manager at Flytedesk and Philadelphia Neighborhoods, respectively. Fitzgerald's academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University, anticipated in 2024.
