Rene Lima is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at New Work SE since September 2022. Previously, Rene held roles as an International Partner for Technology at the World Business Angels Investment Forum, where responsibilities included business screening and assessment to facilitate cross-border investments. As Chief of Innovation Officer at AL4MO, Rene focused on product development for startups and technology-based businesses. Additional experience includes strategic positions such as Chief Information Officer for FNDE, Chief Technology Officer for Ministério da Educação, and various advisory roles in technology governance and consultancy. Rene holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Brasília, along with executive education in Branding & Brand Culture and Open Innovation from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
