M. De Blasio is currently a Committee member at Teksid. They have been with the company since September 1994 and previously held the position of Corporate Quality Manager.
Teksid is a company that produces metallurgical products for the automotive industry, including cast iron and aluminium products. As Corporate Quality Manager, M. De Blasio was responsible for the quality departments of all 13 plants around the world.
In 2008, following the closure of one of the plants, M. This situation continued until March 2013, when another manager was appointed for Teksid Aluminum Quality and M. De Blasio was given back their former position in Teksid Iron.
The main tasks of the Corporate Quality Manager position include contributing to defining the company strategy and budget, defining quality policies and guidelines, ensuring the Quality System maintenance, development, and certification, promoting and supporting quality improvement activities in all plants, reducing quality-non quality costs, and negotiating with customers about quality targets and penalties. While holding this position, M. De Blasio was also appointed as deputy plant manager in Teksid Aluminum Cléon plant (France) from October 2004 to June 2005. As deputy plant manager, their tasks included reorganizing Production, Maintenance, and Quality departments, recovering production efficiency and delay in delivery, and improving the service level for customers.
M. De Blasio attended the Politecnico di Torino, where they obtained their Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering on October 27th, 1983.
