Matt Phillips is an accomplished Information System Security Officer at TekSynap since July 2023, utilizing the Risk Management Framework to enhance the security of cloud-based systems while overseeing authorization activities. Prior to this role, Phillips served as a Team Leader, Information System Security Manager Representative, and Cybersecurity Specialist at System High Corporation, where oversight included authorization to operate activities for multiple systems at the Missile Defense Agency. Phillips has a distinguished military background, having served in various capacities within the US Army, including Senior Manager at the United States Army Special Operations Command and multiple leadership roles in Special Forces, where technical proficiency and international operational planning were key strengths. Educational achievements include a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Networking and Security and a minor in Natural Sciences from the University of Maryland Global Campus, along with an Associate's Degree from Central Texas College.
