Rachel Schachter

Rachel Schachter is a seasoned professional in nonprofit development and advancement, currently serving as the Director Of Advancement at Temple Israel of Minneapolis since August 2018. Over this tenure, Rachel has expanded the team from two to six members while managing an ambitious fundraising program and taking on additional operational responsibilities. Prior experience includes roles as Director Of Development at Temple Beth Am, Director of Development at Starlight Children's Foundation Northwest, and Director of Development and Finance at Vietnamese Friendship Association, among others. Rachel has successfully implemented philanthropy programs that significantly increased participation and revenue, and has a solid educational background with a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Puget Sound.
