Yimin Chen

Yimin Chen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in leading technical teams and developing innovative solutions across multiple high-profile companies. Currently serving as a Software Development Engineer at Temporal Technologies since May 2021, Yimin leads the Temporal Server team. Previously, at Facebook from August 2020 to May 2021, Yimin acted as a Technical Lead for Privacy Enforcement within the Facebook Feature Framework. At Uber from February 2017 to July 2020, Yimin focused on the Cadence distributed workflow solution and infrastructure foundations. Earlier roles at Facebook involved enhancing Android infrastructure and mobile performance. Yimin's career began at Microsoft, where significant contributions were made to keyword services for online advertising and mobile device management. An internship at Sun Microsystems on the Java team laid the groundwork for a robust engineering career.
