Albert Chen

Albert Chen is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in design management and consultancy. Currently serving as a Design Management Consultant at Tencent since June 2023, Albert also founded Alternating Current Design & Strategy in April 2021 and holds the position of Senior Consultant at inDare Design Strategy Limited. With a background that includes roles such as Senior Design Director at Yuneec International and Assistant GM of Industrial Design at TCL Multimedia, Albert has a strong focus on industrial design, user experience, and strategic project planning. Additionally, Albert contributes to design education as a Senior Consultant at the Red Dot Design Award and has been involved as a juror for the iF Design Awards. Albert holds a PhD candidacy in Creative Industries Management from Shih Chien University and has advanced degrees in Design Management and Industrial Design from Pratt Institute and Dayeh University, respectively.
