Chenji Pan

Chenji Pan is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and backend infrastructure. Currently a Tech Lead at Tencent since June 2021, Chenji oversees the backend and infrastructure team for Tencent Video. Prior roles include Staff Software Engineer at Airbnb, working on UDS, and as a Tech Lead at Pinterest, where Chenji led the core infrastructure team focused on storage and caching systems. Previous experience also includes positions at LinkedIn, Amazon, and SAP, with a strong foundation in research from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where Chenji earned a Master's in Computer Science and a Bachelor's in Information Security, respectively.
