Carmen Dozal

Carmen Dozal possesses extensive experience in healthcare management, currently serving as a Patient Safety Officer at Tenet Healthcare since December 2017. Carmen has held various roles at Baptist Health System since April 2004, including Risk Manager, overseeing the management of system policies and procedures, as well as serving as the System Administrator for the 'Policy Manager' application. Responsibilities have also included managing Interpreter Services, Patient Rights signage, and functioning as HIPAA Compliance Officer across multiple facilities. Previous experience includes a position as Patient Advocate Coordinator, and at Southwest General Hospital as a Patient Representative, facilitating communication between patients, families, and the hospital. Carmen earned a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Incarnate Word College in 1995.
