Nadja Y. West

Nadja West is a board member for several organizations, including the Bob Woodruff Foundation, Mount St. Mary's University, and Americares, as well as an independent director for Nucor Corporation and Tenet Healthcare. With a distinguished military background, Nadja West served as the Commanding General of the US Army Medical Department and the 44th Surgeon General of the Army from December 2015 to October 2019. Education includes a Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University, a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Master of Science in National Security and Strategic Studies from the National War College. Additionally, Nadja West has participated as a Hauser Leader at Harvard Kennedy School and served as a public speaker for Leading Authorities, Inc.
