John McCarley

John McCarley, MD, currently serves as President Elect of the Tennessee Medical Association, where responsibilities include preparing for the presidency and participating in the Executive Committee. McCarley has held various leadership roles within the association, including Speaker of the House of Delegates and Secretary Treasurer. As a Senior Partner and Physician at Nephrology Associates in Chattanooga since 2001, McCarley specializes in the care of patients with kidney diseases and oversees the Board of Directors. Additional roles include representation on the Medical Executive Committee at CHI-Memorial Hospital, serving as Governor for the Tennessee Physicians Quality Verification Organization, and acting as Medical Director for Dialysis Clinic, Inc. and the Southeast Interventional Nephrology Center. McCarley’s educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University.
