Dr. Shaowei Ding received her Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concurrent M.S. degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from Iowa State University. She brings a strong expertise in optical and electrical biosensing. Prior to joining TERA-print, Shaowei pushed the limits of electrochemical biomarker detection through the development of novel ultra-sensitive interdigitated electrode arrays. She is also well-versed in biology, surface chemistry, biofunctionalization, inkjet printing, materials characterization and statistical analysis. Shaowei explores new and innovative uses of the TERA-print technology in applications pertained to biology, chemistry, physics, and materials science.
