Pieter Welten

Pieter Welten is a seasoned professional in the venture capital sector, currently serving as a Partner at Prime Ventures since August 2013, focusing on high-growth European technology companies with over €700 million in assets under management. In addition to this role, Pieter holds multiple board member positions at various organizations, including TerraPay, CybelAngel, Recharge.com, Tripaneer, EatStreet, and iwoca, showcasing a broad influence across the technology and startup landscape. Pieter co-founded notiss, the first app dedicated to helping individuals remember important life events, and was a founding board member of VEECEE, an initiative aimed at connecting professionals in the European venture capital community. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Tax Law from Utrecht University and an MSc in International Business from London Metropolitan University, along with an undergraduate background in Law.
