Shane Scanlon

Shane Scanlon, PE, is a seasoned engineering professional with significant experience in the nuclear and chemical industries. Currently serving as a Licensing Engineer at NuScale Power since October 2020, Shane previously worked as a Decommissioning Process Engineer at Nuclear Fuel Services, overseeing activities within a $25M budget. Prior roles include Production Engineer at Eastman Chemical Company, where Shane managed capital project scopes and production data analysis, and Systems Manager at Exelon Nuclear, responsible for plant system management and reliability improvements. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clarkson University and an Associate of Science in Engineering Science from Jefferson Community College.
