Gilles Auffret

A graduate of the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris, the Ecole Polytechnique and the Ecole Nationale d'Administration, Gilles Auffret has served as Director of INSEE, Magistrate at the Court of Auditors and Director General of Pechiney Aluminium. He joined Rhodia (Chemicals) in 1999 as Managing Director of the Polyamide Division before becoming General Operations Director in 2001. As CEO of Rhodia in 2011 and a member of the Executive Committee of Solvay, he led the merger of the two groups.
