Optimist Habila

Optimist Habila is a seasoned professional in education and programme management with extensive experience at the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) since 2014, advancing from Personal Assistant to Executive Secretary & Senior Monitoring Officer to Assistant Chief Education Officer. In addition to current roles, significant contributions include managing educational interventions aimed at improving outcomes for girls in Nigeria through partnerships with organizations such as MercyCorps and Comic Relief-UK. Prior to TETFund, Optimist served as Programme Manager at Community Action for Popular Participation (CAPP), leading projects focused on education and accountability in Niger and Plateau states. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Business Administration and Management, an M.Tech. in Environmental Management Technology, and a B.Tech. in Agricultural Technology.
