Katri Viippola

Katri Viippola is a Finnish business executive who currently serves as a board member at Terveystalo, a Finnish healthcare company. Katri has previously held senior positions at Taloudellinen tiedotustoimisto TAT, Varma, and Keva.

Viippola began their career in 2001 as Head of Personnel Development at Yle, the Finnish Broadcasting Company. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing Talent Management, Career Management, Competence Management and Performance Management programs for the company's 3,000 employees. Katri also oversaw recruitment and defined strategically important competencies for Yle.

In 2013, Viippola left Yle to become HR and Administrative Director at Keva, a Finnish pension provider. In this role, they were responsible for Shared Services, which included HR, Legal and Administration Services, IT Management and Communications services. Katri left Keva in 2015 to join Taloudellinen tiedotustoimisto TAT as a board member.

Viippola has been a board member at Terveystalo since 2018.

Katri Viippola has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio and Television from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, a Master of Arts in Media Production from Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, and an Executive MBA from the Management Institute of Finland. Katri also has a certificate in ownership and board work from Boardman, and a certificate in strategic personnel management from the Management Institute of Finland.
