Sara de Simoni

Sara De Simoni has been with Tetra Pak since March 2001, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Development & Technology. Throughout their tenure, Sara has held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Programme Management and Managing Director of Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions S.p.A, and Vice President of Equipment Engineering. Responsibilities include overseeing an R&D engineering team across Sweden, Italy, and China, managing a large engineering group focused on packaging line and filling machine development, and defining project management standards within the organization. Sara is also a PMP Certified Project Manager and has experience as an Openings Development Engineer, where product design and packaging solutions were key focuses. Prior to Tetra Pak, Sara served as an Assistant Lecturer at Università degli Studi di Firenze from July 1998 to July 2001.
