Mike Nieto

Mike Nieto is a seasoned environmental science consultant currently serving as a Principal Environmental Science Consultant at Tetra Tech since July 2024. Prior experience includes roles as the Southern California Natural Resources Director and Office Director at WRA, Inc., focusing on strategic marketing, high-level coastal aquatic resource permitting, and staff development. As a Principal and Senior Biologist at RECON Environmental, Inc., Mike managed substantial municipal infrastructure projects and was dedicated to business development. Earlier positions involved project management and education roles, including serving as a Naturalist with the City of Long Beach and Adjunct Faculty at Purdue University. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from UC San Diego.
