Kathy Hlavaty

Kathy Hlavaty has over three decades of experience in law enforcement and insurance. Starting as a Patrolman and Criminal Investigator at the Palestine Police Department from June 1984 to January 1989, Kathy transitioned to the Tdcj Parole Division, working as a Parole Officer from September 1990 to February 2003. Kathy has served as an Insurance Agent at Texas Farm Bureau since July 2004. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice/Police Science from the University of Texas at Tyler, obtained between 1986 and 1989, and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Kilgore College, earned from 1981 to 1983. Kathy is an alumnus of West Rusk High School.
