Kurt Weidemeyer

Kurt Weidemeyer currently serves as the Vice President of Digital In Flight Entertainment and In Flight Connectivity at Thales, where responsibilities include leading a global team and managing the product roadmap for digital offerings. Prior to this role, Kurt held various senior leadership positions at Inmarsat, including Senior Vice President of Technology, where oversight encompassed a $300M Aviation Business Unit and accountability for airline P&L, product strategy, and service delivery. During their tenure at Inmarsat, significant achievements included tripling annual revenue in Business Aviation through the successful launch of Global Xpress. Kurt's earlier experience includes leadership roles in marketing and product management at Honeywell and a foundation in customer support and sales at AMS and Platinum Financial, respectively. Kurt holds an MBA from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Riverside.
