Mathieu Castera

Mathieu CASTERA is an aspiring aerospace engineer currently serving as an Assistant Ingenieur at ONERA - The French Aerospace Lab, where responsibilities include developing onboard software for a CubSat as part of the CROCUS mission. Previous experience includes leading a team at SiERA on the design of an autonomous electric rocket, as well as participating in the Dassault UAV Challenge, where Mathieu focused on the recovery system for an autonomous drone. Educational credentials include a Diplôme d'ingénieur in aerospace engineering from Ecole Supérieure des Techniques Aéronautiques et de Construction Automobile, a Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University, and a Baccalauréat from Saint-Thomas d'Aquin-Veritas. Additional experience includes research assistance at INCAS and hands-on work at ELDEC France SAR.L. on an assembly line for sensors used in A320 aircraft.
