Christine Kirby

Christine Kirby is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in people management and operations. Currently serving as the Director of People at Thames Valley Police since August 2001, Christine has held several key roles including Acting Director of People, Assistant Director of People, Head of People Innovation & Change, People Services Manager, and Business Manager overseeing Finance & Resources for the Control Room & Enquiry Centre. Prior to this, Christine worked as Operations Manager for the South of England at the British School of Motoring from August 1989 to July 1999, focusing on retail sales and management. Christine holds multiple degrees from Oxford Brookes University, including a Masters in Innovation and Change, a CIPD in Human Resources, and an MBA in Business Studies, complemented by foundational education from St Margaret Mary's.
