Swathi Shanmukhasundaram

Swathi Shanmukhasundaram is an accomplished Lead Producer at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) since March 2020, leading innovative storytelling initiatives for youth. With a strong focus on mental health outreach, Swathi has contributed to the development of the ‘Reverb’ program at the Centre for Multicultural Youth and served in various roles promoting youth empowerment within culturally diverse communities. As co-founder and National Director of The Vermilion Project, Swathi advocates for the social inclusion of individuals affected by menstrual health conditions. Additionally, Swathi holds leadership positions as the incoming Curator of the Global Shapers Melbourne Hub and has a diverse background in youth leadership, health advocacy, and social innovation. Swathi Shanmukhasundaram's educational qualifications include degrees in Law and Commerce from Deakin University and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from The Australian National University.
