Bharat Amin

Bharat Amin, NACD.DC, currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for The Aerospace Corporation and as a Distinguished Fellow and Co-Chair of the Executive Committee for Avasant’s Distinguished Fellow Program. In addition, Bharat holds the position of Executive Director at the Technology Business Management Council. Previously, Bharat was the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Huntington Ingalls Industries, Inc., where responsibilities included establishing cybersecurity capabilities and IT strategic direction. Prior roles include VP and CIO at Newport News Shipbuilding, Business Technology Officer at BAE Systems, and Group Director of IT at Electrolux North America. Educational credentials include an Executive MBA in Finance and International Business and a Master's in Industrial Engineering, complemented by a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering.
