Gary Hansen Aia

Gary Hansen AIA, LEED AP BD+C serves as the Immediate Past President of the American Institute of Architects Long Island Chapter, having previously held positions as President and President Elect within the chapter. Gary has extensive experience in architectural project management, currently working as Project Manager Senior Associate at Spector Group since May 2012, and formerly as a Project Manager/Architect. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Technical Architect at Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where leadership on the One World Trade Center project involved developing interior detailing and overseeing construction administration. Gary also played a key role in the construction documents for two US Embassies and projects for educational institutions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Architecture from the New York Institute of Technology, obtained from 1987 to 1992.
