Sumit Gupta

Sumit Gupta is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software development and leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a PMC Member and Committer for Apache Knox at The Apache Software Foundation since September 2014, Sumit has also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at PandoLogic from May 2021 to May 2024, following the acquisition of Wade & Wendy where Sumit served in the same role from April 2017 to May 2021. Prior experience includes senior technical roles at Hortonworks, DemystData, Voxware, IBM, Princeton Softech, and Oracle Corporation, showcasing a strong background in AI, big data, and software engineering. Sumit holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Temple University and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from P.E.S College of Engineering.
