Colin A. Cooper

Colin A. Cooper is an experienced information and communication technology professional currently serving as the Director of ICT at The Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon since May 2024. Prior to this role, Colin held the position of Head of IT at the Higher Education Authority from April 2022 to May 2024, and served as Head of ICT at the Medical Council Ireland between August 2017 and April 2022. Colin's career also includes experience as IT Manager at the Companies Registration Office from August 2014 to August 2017, and as IT Network Manager at Forfas from January 1999 to August 2014. Colin A. Cooper holds a Master of Science in Internet Information Systems from Dublin City University, a Diploma in Project Management from the Irish Management Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Griffith College Dublin.
