Sanjeev Giri

Sanjeev Giri is an experienced communications professional currently serving as a Strategic Communications Officer for The Asia Foundation, contributing to the USAID Civil Society & Media Program since September 2023. Prior to this role, Sanjeev worked as a Multimedia Broadcast Journalist for BBC News from December 2018 to August 2023, and held the position of Assistant Senior Sub Editor at Kantipur Media Group from May 2010 to November 2018. Additional experience includes serving as a Nepal Correspondent for Agencia EFE, the Spanish National News Agency, and holding leadership roles at Communication Study Centre and Mero FM 93.5 MHz. Sanjeev holds a Master's Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University and a background in Journalism & Mass Communication and English Literature from Madan Bhandari Memorial College.
