Pete Weber

Pete Weber is currently the Vice President for the Center for Rising Generations at The Aspen Institute, a position held since August 2024. Previously, Pete served as Principal at The Raben Group from July 2021 to August 2024 and as an Adjunct Professor at American University, where instruction focused on leadership and organizational change. An independent consultant from January 2017 to July 2021, Pete specialized in strategic planning and organizational development for various educational and non-profit entities. With a decade-long tenure at the District of Columbia Public Schools from 2007 to 2017, Pete held multiple roles, including Chief of Staff, where emphasis was placed on organizational alignment and goal tracking. Earlier experience includes positions with the New York City Department of Education and Achieve, Inc., as well as an educational background with a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from The LBJ School and a Bachelor’s degree in English and History from the University of Iowa.
