Sylvia Kalley

Sylvia Kalley is an experienced professional in grants management and program administration, currently serving as the Associate Director of Fellowships at The Aspen Institute since January 2024. As a Co-Founder of Launchpad Africa since August 2020, Sylvia has played a pivotal role in supporting initiatives in Africa. Previous positions include serving as Country Representative for Sierra Leone and Senior Grants and Contracts Manager at eHealth Africa, where responsibilities encompassed managing substantial grant portfolios and ensuring compliance with donor regulations. Sylvia's extensive background includes roles at ICAP at Columbia University, Concern Worldwide, the World Bank, Pact, City Year, the Peace Corps, and Georgetown University's School of Business. With a Master of Science in Development Management from American University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Methodist University, Sylvia combines academic expertise with practical experience in international development and grants management.
