Tasha Dennis

Tasha Dennis, JD, MPP, currently serves as an Aspen Institute Scholar at The Aspen Institute since 2019. Dennis has gained diverse experience in various roles, including Post Bar Clerk at Modern Family Law, Legislative Aide at the Texas House of Representatives for the 88th Legislative Session, and Judicial Law Clerk at the Fourteenth Court of Appeals. Previous positions include Advocacy & Government Affairs at KIPP Texas Public Schools, Founding Affiliate Project Coordinator at the Urban League of Louisiana, External Affairs Manager at Democracy Prep Public Schools, Associate with Teach For America, and Public Policy Associate at Points of Light. Dennis holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from New England College and a Doctor of Law from Texas Southern University, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in English from Tulane University.
