Maureen Downey

Maureen Downey is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in alternative asset investment and venture capital. Currently serving as Managing Director at Beneficient since September 2020, Maureen executes investments across various private asset classes with a focus on growth capital. Simultaneously, Maureen is a Venture Partner at DigitalDx Ventures, advising on fund management and deal structuring in the digital healthcare sector. Prior roles include Managing Director at SharesPost, where Maureen managed a substantial portfolio and led new product initiatives, and a Partnership Member at Pantheon Ventures, contributing to global investment strategies. Earlier experience at Goldman Sachs involved investment banking across major international markets. Maureen holds dual MBA degrees from The Wharton School and the Rotterdam School of Management, as well as a BA from Claremont McKenna College.
