John Barnett

John Barnett is an experienced software engineer with a diverse background in developing and maintaining software systems across multiple industries. Currently associated with The AI Institute as a Software professional since September 2024, John previously worked at RightHand Robotics, Inc. as a Software Engineer from August 2019 to July 2024. Prior to that, John served as a Software Engineer at mabl and a Principal Technical Lead at Kyruus, where John was responsible for the development of search systems and API design. Earlier roles include Principal Software Engineer at Nokia, focusing on location search quality through machine learning, and Scientist at Charles River Analytics. John holds a Master of Science and a SM in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Maryland.
