Mitch Owens

Mitch Owens, PE, currently serves as the Director of Estimating and Preconstruction Manager at The Brandt Companies since March 2023. Prior to this role, Mitch worked at SpawGlass from December 2018 to March 2023 as a Project Manager and Estimator, focusing on hard and conceptual estimating and project management while identifying potential leads. Previous experience includes serving as a Sales Application Engineer in Cummins Inc.'s power generation group from April 2016 to December 2018, providing comprehensive solutions for generation projects. From June 2010 to April 2016, Mitch worked as a Staff Electrical Engineer at Burns and McDonnell, designing various utility and distribution systems. Early career experience includes an engineering internship at Gearhart Companies, where troubleshooting and programming of drilling tools were key responsibilities, and a project at Oncor Electric Delivery focused on developing a high-voltage circuit breaker monitor. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Christian University, awarded in 2010.
