Alireza Maghsoudi, MD, specializes in general, nuclear, and preventative cardiology. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and nuclear cardiology as well as adult comprehensive echocardiography and cardiovascular tomography. He is also one of a small number of cardiologists who are board-certified in both sleep medicine and cardiovascular disease.
Dr. Maghsoudi earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University and pursued his residency at Georgetown University. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Washington Hospital Center, Georgetown University Medical Center, and the Washington D.C. Veterans Affairs Hospital before completing an additional year of training in advanced cardiac imaging at Harvard University Medical School/Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
