Adam Perez is a Constellations Fellow at The Center for Cultural Power since February 2023 and an Emerson Collective Fellow since November 2020, working on the "Pandemic in the Heartland" project that documents the impact of COVID-19 on immigrant communities in California's Central Valley. Perez also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Southern California and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. As an Independent Filmmaker and Photographer since 2018, Perez has a background that includes roles as a Video Producer for Fusion Media Network and Time Magazine, and as a Video Journalist for the Los Angeles Times. Education includes a Master of Science in Digital Media from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, Photography, and Multimedia from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Perez was a Logan Fellow at the Carey Institute for Global Good and completed the Tim Russert Fellowship with NBCUniversal.
