Paulo Alexandre de Oliveira

Paulo Alexandre de Oliveira is a Staff Scientist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia since July 2024, with previous experience as a Staff Scientist at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development, where implementation of nuclei extraction protocols for single-cell sequencing and omics strategies was achieved. Prior roles include Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the National Institute on Drug Abuse, focusing on the discovery and development of selective receptor ligands and mentoring junior scientists. Additional experience includes academic positions as a Professor of Pharmacology at UNOESC and a PhD researcher at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, where research in neuropsychopharmacology was conducted. Paulo has also served as a Clinical Research Coordinator and a Retail Pharmacist. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Pharmacology and a Master of Pharmacology from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, along with a PharmD from ULBRA.
