Sakina Adamali

Sakina Adamali is a Clinical Research Assistant at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, focusing on early literacy and caregiver-child interactions under Dr. Danielle Erkoboni. Previously, Sakina served as a Clinical Research Assistant in the Center for Nursing for Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice, managing SQL queries and statistical analysis while contributing to studies on neurogenic bowel dysfunction and wellness interventions. Sakina also conducted a senior honors research thesis at the University of Pennsylvania's Changing Brain Lab, exploring the relationship between praise and persistence in children, earning the John Abela Award for outstanding research in Positive Psychology. Additional roles include serving as a Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line, a research intern at the Positive Psychology Center, and leading fundraising efforts for Active Minds, Inc. Sakina holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, following attendance at the International School Moshi.
