Cheung Lavender

Cheung Lavender currently serves as the Director of Communications and Public Relations at 香港中文大學 since January 2017. Prior to this role, Cheung held the position of Senior Manager for Corporate Communication at the Hong Kong Hospital Authority from September 2010 to January 2017. Cheung also chaired the Organizing Committee for the Chinese University Journalism Award from December 2010 to December 2013, and worked as the Chief Corporate Development Officer at the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce between April 2009 and September 2010. Earlier in the career, Cheung was the Chief Anchor and Japan Correspondent at Hong Kong Cable Television Limited from April 1995 to April 2009. Academic achievements include a Master in Law, Political Studies from Keio University (1995-1998) and a Bachelor in Social Science, Journalism & Communications from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (1988-1993).
