Pete Whiting

Pete Whiting has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership, currently serving as Division Director and Chief Architect at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since July 2005. Prior to this role, Pete held the position of Director of Engineering at VeriCenter from December 2003 to July 2005 and served as Chief Technologist at Sprint from September 2002 to December 2003, where previous experience as a Network Engineer spanned from 1994 to 2002. Pete began the professional career at IBM as an Engineer from May 1992 to September 1994. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Kansas (1999-2004) and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University (1991-1992).
