Ron Ostler

Ron Ostler is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in banking and leadership. Currently serving as Mission President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints since June 2022, Ostler previously held the position of Chairman at Comenity Capital Bank from November 2004 to September 2022, overseeing bank operations, risk management, and regulatory compliance. In addition, Ostler was Vice President of Banking & Governance at Comenity, LLC, where responsibilities included regulatory relations and enterprise risk management. Prior experience includes Senior Vice President of Bankcard at Zions Bancorp and Senior Vice President of Direct Lending at American Investment Bank. Ostler earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Utah between 1977 and 1983.
