Eric McKnight

Eric Mcknight is a dedicated educator with a diverse background in teaching and safety education. Currently serving as a Fire & Life Safety Educator for The City of Rocky Mount since March 2021, Mcknight has previously held multiple teaching roles, including Physical Education Teacher at Edgecombe County Public Schools and High School Social Studies Teacher at both Nash Rocky Mount Schools and Halifax County Schools. Mcknight began a career in education in 2016, also coaching during tenure at Edgecombe County Public Schools. Mcknight earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Winston-Salem State University and pursued additional educational studies at East Carolina University.
