Keith Rogers Jr.

Keith Rogers Jr. serves as the City Manager for The City of Rocky Mount since March 2023, bringing extensive experience in municipal management. Prior to this role, Rogers held the position of Town Manager for the Town of Dumfries from February 2019 to March 2023. Previous career highlights include serving as a Senior Policy Advisor, Senior Assistant to the Chief Administrative Officer, and Assistant City Clerk in the City of Richmond, Virginia from 2009 to 2019. Additionally, Rogers contributed to academia as an Adjunct Faculty member at Virginia Commonwealth University's Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs from 2011 to 2016 and worked as a Legislative Aide in the Virginia House of Delegates in 2008-2009. Keith Rogers Jr. holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
