Mike Hallinan

Mike Hallinan currently serves as the Assistant Vice President and Director of Campus Safety and Emergency Services at The Claremont Colleges Services, a consortium comprising multiple prestigious institutions. With extensive experience in law enforcement, Mike transitioned to this role after a distinguished career, including positions as Police Lieutenant at UC Irvine and Police Commander for the City of Irvine, both retired. Additional experience includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and as a Reserve Police Officer with LAPD. Mike's educational background includes a Master of Science in Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix and ongoing graduate studies in Law Enforcement and Public Safety Leadership at the University of San Diego, along with additional certifications in law enforcement command and inclusive excellence.
