Moya Carter

Moya Carter, Ph.D., currently serves as the Clery Compliance Coordinator for The Claremont Colleges Services' Department of Campus Safety, a role initiated in July 2017 that involves providing training, assisting with regulatory reporting, and managing crime statistics for seven Claremont Colleges. Prior to this, Moya Carter worked at Pitzer College for over 16 years, holding various positions including Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Dean of Students, where responsibilities included oversight of Residence Life and judicial processes. Moya Carter began the professional journey at Point Loma Nazarene University as a Residence Director. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University, a Master of Education in College Student Affairs from Azusa Pacific University, and a Bachelor's degree in English from the same institution.
